The school will be held at the Lise-Meitner Haus in Berlin Adlershof. Adlershof is easily reachable via public transport both from the airport or the central train station in Berlin.
Travel from BER airport:
From the airport, take the S9 train from the BER airport train station. There are signs to guide your way. As the train terminates there, you do not have to worry about which direction to go in. It will stop in Adlershof.
Travel from Berlin central station:
From the main station, the easiest way is to take the S9 towards "Flughafen BER". It will stop in Adlershof. Beware that the S-trains are sometimes unreliable at best and there are other connections. It is recommended to use the "VBB Fahrinfo" app or look for a connection on the website of the VBB.
Tickets:
Tickets can be bought in the "VBB Tickets" app or at any of the ticket vending machines around the train stations. Beware that Berlin has 3 zones, A, B, and C. If you are travelling through BER airport, you need to buy a zone C ticket. Adlershof and everything further towards the center of Berlin is in zone A+B.
Caution:
If you have a ticket for public transport on paper, please note that the ticked has to be stamped in order to be valid. Stamping machines are located at all platforms.
