This information is intended for you as a participant in this event.

As organizers of this event, we don't foresee providing devices for you to connect to the network, so please bring your own computing device. Only wireless network connectivity will be provided. Details on how to get connected are given on a specific page.

The provisions of the current state of emergency in France require us to ask for your identification document at the reception desk. Please bring a valid identification document every day to enter the event venue. Only registered participants who show a valid identification document will be allowed to enter the site. 

The venue of this event is a non-smoking site. However, there are some designated smoking areas outside of the building, which are easily found.

The agenda information is subject to minor changes before and even during the event, so no paper version will be provided. The most up-to-date information about this event is accessible via https://indico.desy.de/e/dcache-uw19.

As organizers of this event, we would really appreciate it if you notified us if you registered but could not attend. Please refer to the menu on the left for details on how to contact us.

Please note that no breakfast will be provided at the venue. However, we plan to have coffee and tea breaks. See the timetable for details.

Visits to the data center machine rooms

All registered participants are invited to guided group visits to the IN2P3 computer center machine rooms. You received instructions by e-mail on how to register. The dates and times of those visits are available in the timetable.
