The Pitch & Connect event will feature 5-minute flash talks where you can showcase your research, receive constructive feedback, and connect with fellow researchers in a relaxed setting. Whether you’re presenting your work or simply attending to learn and network, this event promises valuable insights and opportunities for collaboration.
🕔 Presentation Rules
- Time limit: 5 minutes maximum – we will cut off strictly at 5:00.
- Slide limit: 3–5 PowerPoint slides (less is better).
- Submission: Please send slides in advance to the organizing team to ensure smooth running and compatibility.
💬 Tips for Presenters
- Start strong: state what your research is about and why it matters.
- Assume your audience is smart but not in your field – avoid jargon.
- Use visuals to support your story, not distract from it.
- Practice timing – rehearse to keep within the 5-minute limit.
