This follow-up workshop on “Community Proposals on AMO physics Using
Seeded Operation at FLASH” will take place on
Thursday, 12 June 2025 from 13:00 -15:00 CEST, as an online event.
Building on previous discussions, this workshop is dedicated to developing
one or two coordinated community proposals for early experiments at the
upgraded seeded FLASH1, showcasing its new capabilities: Improved
coherence, stability, and polarization control.
Expected available FLASH1 parameters:
Photon energy up to 120 eV with 10-18 uJ/pulse; BW~0.05-0.1%; Pulse
duration: 20-50 fs fwhm; full polarization control; max 500b@1MHz
Participants are encouraged to contribute with a one-slide presentation to
spark discussion and collaboration. Please select the corresponding
checkbox when registering.
Selected proposals will have a certain level of publicity, they will be
shared with the PSC and presented in future meetings.
We look forward to seeing you there!
