The ErUM-Data Hub, LHC ErUM FSP Office, der DESYs Bereich Innovation & Technologie Transfer (ITT) and the AiNT GmbH invite you to the second Transfer Workshop for ErUM-Scientists and Industry. 

This workshop aims to create opportunities for networking and to give industry insight into what we’re working on at ErUM-Data. The focus is on the development of the latest technologies in the field of computing. 

The aim of this workshop is to provide space for networking and thereby strengthen future cooperation. The program offers all participants the opportunity to present themselves / their work / their project or company in a short pitch or with a poster.

We look forward to interesting discussions and getting to know you!

Registration is expected to open in late 2025.

The program is preliminary and depends on the contributions. Grouped pitch slots, directly followed by question and discussion opportunities in a panel format are planned.

Fee & Catering: 

  • A participation fee will be charged. The fee includes catering (coffee breaks and lunch) during the event.
  • The registration fee is 50€ and includes coffee breaks, a light lunch, a workshop dinner and a DESY & Computing Centre tour. 

 

Programme (all info here): 

  • The program is based on your contributions. You have two options to present yourself: 
    • Short Pitches: Prepare a short pitch of maximum 2 slides and 5 minutes. For example, you can present yourself as a person, your work, a technology that particularly interests you, a proposal for cooperation, your project or your company. How to contribute: Please indicate in your registration whether you are bringing a pitch and trhe title of your short presentation. This format thrives on contributions. We warmly encourage all participants to take part.
    • Poster Session: The program also offers space for poster presentations. Please indicate in the registration form whether you would like to contribute and present a poster.

 

Workshop Dinner: 

  • We are pleased to invite you to a workshop dinner on June 18. More info to follow soon. 

 

DESY visit:

  • You are invited to an optional tour to DESY and the computing centre  on June 19, 2026 in Hamburg.
