A tour is organised to the DESY II Test Beam Facility on the DESY campus:
- The test beam facility is a user facility at the DESY II synchrotron
- It offers at 3 beamlines electron beams with an energy in the GeV range for detector prototype and module tests
- 400 to 500 users come each year, mostly from the particle physics and nuclear physics community
Number of participants is limited to 32 (16 per tour) on a first-come-first-served basis.
Meeting point will be at the north gate of the "Experimental Hall II" (building 27):
