How to reach the meeting venue (Forth)
We will organise a bus transfer from Heraklion City Center. The bus transfer schedule and the exact stop will be announced in due course before the meeting.
If you would like to come by your own, you have the following possibilities:
- By Taxi: The cost of a taxi from the city center to FORTH is approximately 15 Euros.
- By Car: Should you wish to rent a car, the above map will give you a perspective on how to reach FORTH.
- By Bus (Heraklion urban bus):
There is a bus going directly from the center of the city center to FO.R.T.H., with a journey time of approximately 30 minutes. You can take the bus from the bus station in front of Astoria Hotel (Eleytherias Square). A one-way ticket costs 1.60 € and can be purchased at the bus station kiosk or at other kiosks around the city. We recommend buying your ticket, including the return, before your journey, as ticket points near FO.R.T.H. are limited. Tickets can also be purchased on the bus for 2.50 €.
