Fourth fermion generation and single-top production 2012

The LHC is rapidly constraining the parameter space of the Standard Model with a sequential fourth generation. The correct identification of the allowed parameter space requires the combination of data from direct searches for the new fermions, Higgs decays, single-top production, flavour-changing processes and electroweak precision physics. Due to the high production rate of single-top quarks at the LHC this production mode becomes available for detailed studies and the expectation |V_tb|>0.99 of the three-generation Standard Model can be tested with high precision. The workshop addresses theorists and experimentalists working on a fourth generation and single-top production.
