The Intensity Frontier presents opportunities for answering some of the most fundamental questions confronting particle and nuclear physics. Accelerators at the Intensity Frontier present many challenges that are largely distinct from those in high energy particle colliders. This presentation will review the physics opportunities, the accelerator challenges, and examples of Intensity Frontier facilities including the Project X facility under development at Fermilab.
