The high energy beamline at Petra III, operated by GKSS, will have a strong focus on materials science and condensed matter physics (under the responsibility of DESY).
The aim of this workshop for the high energy beamline is to gather input from experienced high energy synchrotron instrumentalists and users for the detailed layout and design of the beamline. First design proposals with different options will be open for discussion.
This one-day workshop will be structured in three parts. Firstly, experienced instrumentalists invited to the workshop will give presentations of 20 min + 10 min. discussion. In the second part any potential user can give a short presentation of max. 10 min. to express his suggestions and wishes. This part will be followed by a round table discussion.
