Description
Transverse deflecting structures are a powerful tool in beam dynamics studies. These devices produce correlations between transverse and the longitudinal offset. Therefore "top-view" images of the beam can be taken.
Measurements of longitudinal bunch profiles are relatively straight forward, while investigations of the longitudinal phase space or even the slice emittance are more involved. In this poster some experience from these kind of measurements done at the SwissFEL Injector Test Facility are presented.
