Or continue by bus line 1 (direction Schenefelder Holt) directly to the main entrance of DESY (bus stop "Zum Hünengrab/DESY"), traveling time approx. 25 min.

Or continue by S-Bahn (suburban train) line S1 or S11 (direction Blankenese/Wedel) to Othmarschen. Then go on by bus line 1 (direction Schenefelder Holt). Get off at bus stop "Zum Hünengrab/DESY"

Or continue with city train line S1 (direction Blankenese/Wedel) to Othmarschen station. Then go on by bus line 1 (direction Schenefelder Holt) to the main entrance of DESY (bus stop "Zum Hünengrab/DESY").

Exit the Autobahn (A7) at HH-Bahrenfeld. Arriving in Hamburg from the South: turn left onto the main road (Osdorfer Weg). Arriving in Hamburg from the North: turn right onto the main road (Osdorfer Weg). Then turn right onto Notkestraße. The main entrance of DESY is the second road on the left.
Public transportation
A ticket to travel by bus, suburban train, subway or a combination within Hamburg ("Großbereich Hamburg") costs 3.20 EUR. For more than one ride per day, starting after 9 a.m., the day ticket ("9-Uhr-Tagesticket", 6.20 EUR) is a useful alternative. Special tickets are available for short distance trips ("Nahbereich Hamburg" and "Einzelkarte").
