Future Opportunities for Test Beams at DESY

The DESY II Test Beam Facility looks back to 30 years of operation and the usage is continuously increasing. The next years and even more the next decade will bring changes to the accelerator complex at DESY and to the test beam lines. At the same time we strive to improve the infrastructure and the beam line instrumentation available to the user groups.

This Workshop help us understand the requirements and needs of the user community. This workshop is an excellent opportunity to learn about the upcoming developments at DESY, both short-term and in the next decade. With the potential installation of a new injector for the PETRA accelerator, the current test beam facility will be dismantled and we need to make a clear case for a new test beam facility at the upgraded injector. This is your opportunity to help shaping this future by making the case for a new test beam facility by providing your suggestions for improvements, desired beam capabilities, ideas for instrumentation and other ideas.
