Workshop 4 Managing Frustration

Workshop 4
Managing  Frustration

13 April 2018, 9:30 am - 5:30 pm, SR V, building 99, CFEL

Outline
All of us know the situation: You have repeated an experiment three times and although you have done everything right, it still does not work. In Science, we come across various situations that cause stress or frustration. The more often that happens, the harder it gets to regain motivation and start another try.

What exactly is frustration and what are your personal triggers? Using various interactive methods, you will learn about coping strategies for critical situations and get to know practical advices to avoid them coming up in the first place. This seminar should prevent you from a level of stress that exceeds your fun and excitement about working in science.
