Description
With the discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012, particle physics has
entered an exciting era. While the LHC experiments currently do not find
clear evidence for physics beyond the Standard Model, theoretical and
experimental uncertainties still leave enough space for new physics. I
will discuss the status of two scenarios that extended the scalar sector
of the Standard Model, i.e., a model with a simple scalar extension as
well as a two Higgs doublet model with a dark matter candidate.
