The second scientific workshop of the program “From Matter to Materials and Life” (MML) in the Helmholtz Research Field “Matter” will take place in Dresden from February 13th to 15th, 2019.
It is dedicated to the discussion of forefront science done at our large-scale facilities with the aim to strengthen or establish cooperation between research groups at the participating centers and profit from the complementary possibilities offered by our various probes.
We will review recent scientific highlights and will discuss our research plans for the upcoming funding period PoF IV. Moreover, partners from our neighboring program “Matter and Technology” will provide us some insight into their development work driving the innovation in accelerator and detector technology, and computing relevant for MML.
