Despite the great success of the Standard Model, there are still questions left unanswered. The two main issues I will deal with are the nature of dark matter ("what is a possible candidate?") and naturalness ("why is the Higgs mass so low?"). Both these questions can be answered within the composite Higgs paradigm, where a global symmetry is broken spontaneously and explicitly. This generates new particles, among which there can be a good dark matter candidate, and a new energy scale determining the Higgs mass. In our specific model two interesting regions can be found: one where we can have low fine tuning while respecting all experimental constraints and one where the relic density receives contributions from the decay of the new particles.
