Tony:
- not writing in AFS (moved to NFS)
- will crosscheck the seemingly low positron rates question

Sasha:
- looked at the 10k e+laser BX
- when you say it fails is it for the G4?
- we need an answer if the 100x more macro-particles or the 100x more BXs actually work in terms of bkg population.
  - Tony will increase the macro particles
  - in the meantime we need to look at the occupancy with 1k and 10k side-by-side

Kyle:
- LANEX isn’t suitable for the experiment most probably without it being destroyed .
- could it be a Cherenkov?
- Maryna:
  - metal strip detector placed just after the last shielding and before the backscattering calo as a profiler.
  - it could also be placed as a target before the fwd spect. so it serves both as a profiler detector and as a target to convert the photons for the fwd spect. This will reduce the signal rates there by a lot.
  - Kyle can study this in FLUKA based on some inputs from Maryna.
  - we need a separate discussion with Gianluca with all parties involved
