Welcome to the 2010 Terascale Statistics Tools school :-) The school aims at providing education for the most relevant statistics related tasks, problems and methods for physics data analysis in the LHC era. The covered topics are: - General introduction: probabilities, basic distributions - Parameter estimation, likelihood fits - Llmit determination - Data unfolding - Multivariate analysis techniques for optimal signal/background separation - Systematic uncertainties and their evaluation The rich programme sessions consist of minilectures interleaved with "hands on" practical work (paper, computer exercises and/or tutorials). A special highlight talk completes the programme. The physical well-being of the participants will be also taken care of - by coffee breaks, a welcome reception and a dinner. Please take note: - The school fee is 30 Euro: This includes all nutrition costs (cookies, coffee, welcome reception school dinner, etc.) - Accomodation: Please book yourself a room!
