BayernWLAN is a public internet access via WLAN that can be used by everyone. The focus is primarily on municipalities, tourist highlights, universities and public authority locations across Bavaria.
If the Wi-Fi connection has been set up and the terms of use have been confirmed your device will connect automatically for 24 hours as soon as it is within range of a BayernWLAN hotspot.

eduroam
Eduroam is available almost everywhere in the city centre because so many university buildings are spread across the city.
If you don't have an account for eduroam, we will provide guest accounts from 27.9 to 30.09:
- Send request to steffi.kraus@fau.de
- Connect to network FAU.fm
- Enter your username and password
- Confirm the Certificate prompt
