Submission deadline and general guidelines
All abstracts must be received by 25 March 2022 at 23:59:59 CET.
Abstracts should be submitted in English only (max.300 words).
By submitting an abstract, the author(s) agree(s) to present their work in person.
By default, the corresponding author is also the presenting author if the abstract is accepted for oral or poster presentation. Abstracts should only be submitted if the corresponding author plans to attend the symposium.
It is not allowed to change the corresponding author/presenter, nor to make changes to the list of authors, the list of affiliations or the abstract itself after the corresponding author/presenter has received the result of the evaluation procedure. Make sure that all information is correct before submitting your abstract. Each author may submit only one abstract.
If applicable, authors are requested to indicate on the abstract submission form whether they prefer an oral or poster presentation. Abstracts submitted for an oral/poster presentation, but not selected for an oral presentation, may be used for the poster sessions. The decisions of the selection committee are final. All accepted abstracts and the list of authors will be published on our symposium website.
All abstracts will be reviewed and evaluated, and either accepted or rejected for submission. This process will take some time and the result will be available by 31 March 2022. On that date, the submitter will be informed whether their abstract has been accepted or not.
Travel Grants and Waived Registration Fees for Students Submitting Abstracts
A total of 3 travel grants (€500) and 20 early bird registration fee waivers (€50) can be awarded to eligible students. Please indicate your interest in the abstract submission form. Travel grants will be awarded based on abstract quality, and registration fee waivers will be granted by raffle.
