Idiomatic expressions enrich every language. As most direct translations do not make sense they can be confusing and alienating for non-native speakers. This workshop examines commonly used English idioms along with tricky ‘false friends’ with the aim of testing knowledge, expanding comprehension and improving fluency.
For advanced English learners who are level B2 or above There will be a placement test before participation is confirmed.
Duration: two-hour workshop, with a 10 minute break
