Get active and plan your career!
The majority of PhD holders does not stay in academia, but pursues careers in a variety of fields. Many young scientists struggle with finding out which career path they would like to pursue. They are not sure which career options exist, they are lacking a professional network outside of academia, and they often have never taken the time to reflect on what kind of work they would actually like to do. In this course, we will explore what your career options are, which ones would be a good fit for you, and how to get closer to your career goals through active networking.
The following topics will be covered in the course:
- The job market: Where do people with a PhD work?
