About Heidelberg
The city of Heidelberg was founded in the 12th century and is famous for its very beautiful castle and old town. Heidelberg was the residence and capital of the Palatinate on the Rhine for around 500 years. Heidelberg University is more than 650 years old and the oldest German-speaking university. The city is shaped by the University and the many students living in and around Heidelberg.
Conference Site
The Physics Institute will host the conference on the new campus (Neuenheimer Feld). The campus is reachable from the train station by tram or bus within 5-10 minutes and from the Old Town by bus (15 min).
