2011 WLCG Collaboration Workshop at DESY.
The dCache team is excited to announce that this year's WLCG Collaboration Workshop will take place on the DESY campus in Hamburg from the 11th to the 13th of July. A preliminary agenda with a collection of exciting sessions has been drafted by Maria Girone together with the Computing Coordinators of the LHC experiments. As WLCG is All of us, everybody is invited to make the workshop a success by contributing with presentations, demonstrations or posters or just by showing up up and exchanging experiences with your colleagues from around the world.

Accommodation
We pre-booked a set of hotel rooms for you. Please check the dead-line for the pre-bookings, as they differ between hotels. You are responsible for actually booking your accommodation with the hotel directly. However, workshop@dcache.org would be more than happy to help you with any issues you may encounter when finding or booking your accommodation.
Social Events
After the first, exciting and exhausting day, the European Middleware Initiative will offer some snacks and refreshments in the DESY bistro, giving you the chance to meet old friends or collect new ones.
On the evening of the second day, DELL is going to invite you to a fantastic dinner boat trip, cruising river Elbe and the Gateway to the World, the largest port in Germany and the second busiest in Europe. Assuming you won't be seasick after the trip, we leave it to you to explore Hamburgs Sinful Mile, the Reeperbahn, till 9:00, next morning, when we are expecting you back for the Wednesday sessions.
Organization
This year's workshop is organized by dCache.org and the CERN IT Experiment Support group with fantastic support from several DESY infrastructure groups.
