The next DESY Photon Science Users' Meeting "Research with Synchrotron Radiation and FELs" will take place on 24 - 26 January 2024 (Wednesday to Friday) in conjunction with the European XFEL Users' Meeting which will take place on 24 January 2024 (www.xfel.eu/2024um). Both meetings will be held in the 'Kuppel Hamburg', next to DESY campus.
The events comprise sessions on research with free-electron lasers (FELs) and synchrotron radiation sources, satellite workshops and a scientific poster session on Wednesday and Thursday afternoon, which will be accompanied by a vendor exhibition. Focused satellite workshops will be organized on the DESY and EuXFEL campus in the same week.
We are looking forward to welcoming users and all scientists who are interested in the use of photon sources for their research.
You are kindly requested to register until 5 January 2024 (postponed deadline), which is obligatory if you plan to participate in the main sessions, workshops or to present a poster at the poster session.
Please note: The poster sessions will take place only on-site at the location of the plenary sessions. We plan to distribute the posters as follows: Wednesday (24 Jan.) session for posters connected to European XFEL, FLASH, theory and Thursday (25 Jan.) session for posters connected to PETRA III.
This meeting will be held on-site only - there will be no virtual sessions!
