Description
Neutrino physics has had a reemergence since the discovery of neutrino masses and mixing slightly more than a decade ago. MINOS is the first high precision long baseline accelerator experiment which has been taking beam data now for over 5 years. Several landmark precision measurements of the mixing parameters dm2 and sin22theta have been produced as well as limits on searches for sterile neutrinos and the subdominant process numu->nue. These results will be discussed. In the future, while the new experiments are focussing on theta13, MINOS could measure with unprecedented precision, the higher energy spectrum from which various new physics could be identified. These plans will also be discussed.
