Dresden main station (Dresden Hauptbahnhof) is the closest train station to the University campus and to many hotels in the city centre

  • Dresden Airport currently has direct connections e.g. to Frankfurt, Munich, Duesseldorf, Zurich. For all other destinations you may book stop-over at these cities.

    From Dresden-Airport one can reach the city center, the University campus and most of the hotels within 20 minutes by taking the shuttle train ("S2") to Dresden-Hauptbahnhof (Main station). Train tickets (3,20 EUR) can be bought at the Airport train station or information desk.

    Taxis are available at Dresden-Airport, too.
