The DESY-Hamburg laboratory is located within a residential area on the western side of Hamburg. There are numerous hotel accommodations available in Hamburg, and a few within walking distance to the campus. We recommend that you use one of the well-known booking sites to make your reservation. We have not designated any special conference hotels nor did we reserve special room blocks at hotels, since this is mostly more expensive than if you use booking sites. Instead, below we point out a few hotels close to DESY.
DESY Hostel
A total of 40 rooms at the DESY on-site hostel are reserved exclusively for the workshop, which is an on-site and inexpensive option, 35€ per night for an en-suite single room or 45€ for a double.
Reserved rooms are available from Friday May 10th until Friday 17th, in case people wish to come early to enjoy Hafengeburtstag.
To make a reservation, please visit the DESY hostel page and use the online form or contact hostel@desy.de with the information listed on the page. Please specify that you are coming for "IMCC2025" in the additional text.
Unreserved rooms will begin to be released after April 10th, so please register as soon as possible if you would like to stay at the DESY Hostel. Additional rooms may be available after this date but this is not guaranteed.
Hostel room billls should be collected from the Hostel Office on the last day of the workshop and can be paid using a Credit Card on site or later via Bank Transfer.

There are many hotels available in Hamburg within easy reach of DESY, which is around 25 minutes from Hamburg-Altona train station using MetroBus 1. Altona itself is easily reachable from further afield using the reliable and frequent S-bahn system.
