Accommodation
Accommodation is the participants own responsibility. Here are a couple of suggestions.DESY Hostel
You may try to stay at the DESY Hostel which is conveniently located on the campus. For further information and to book, please go to the hostel web site. In the registration form, enter "T" in the field "DESY Group" and mention that you are coming for the Autum School in the field "Additional Text". The hostel tends to fill up quite quickly, so please book as soon as possible!Hotels Off-Campus
We have pre-booked 15 double/single rooms at the Hotel Central in Altona at the special rate of 30 Euro p.P. (double) or 49 p.P. (single), breakfast is an additional 9 Euro p.P.. Information on the hotel can be seen at

These rooms can be booked through the DESY Theory Secretary by sending an email to
with title "Autumn School Hotel" and specifying the type of room and date of arrival/departure BEFORE 10 September 2011. The rooms will be assigned on a first come first served basis. After September 10, 2011, the participants may still contact the hotel directly.
