In the framework of the European Strategy for Particle Physics, since May 2024, KET (the Committee for Elementary Particle Physics) is organising a series of workshops in Germany open to the community to prepare the German national input for the Update of the European Strategy for Particle Physics. Please find below the list of events.
- Future Collider at CERN Community Event, Bonn, 22-24 May 2024.
- German strategy workshop "The Future of Non-Collider Particle Physics" in preparation of the ESPP update, Bad Honnef, 22-24 November 2024.
- German strategy workshop "The future of Collider Physics" in preparation of the ESPP update, DESY, 27-29 November 2024.
- Workshop in preparation of the main input to the ESPP update, Bad Honnef, 19-22 January 2025.
The main German national input is under preparation and will be submitted 31 March 2025. However, in order to prepare the update of national input foreseen to be submitted in May, in view of a possible prioritisation of projects and the preparation of the Venice open symposium in June, KET is organising another community meeting on 28-29 April 2025 at the Max Planck Institute for Physics in Garching near Munich.
A zoom connection will be available for the workshop. Please register also if you plan to participate via zoom. The participant list of the workshop will be used for communication about a possible addition to our national ESPP input.
