The observed cosmological baryon asymmetry can be dynamically generated in the Early Universe by the out-of-equilibrium decay of right-handed neutrinos via the leptogenesis mechanism. In the first part of this talk I will briefly discuss how to accommodate the reheating temperature required in the standard scenario of leptogenesis with gravitino production and Big Bang Nucleosynthesis by considering a light hidden sector. Then, I will report on some recent progress towards describing the dynamics of leptogenesis within quantum field theory.
