Description
The top-quark is widely considered as a possible window to New Physics at the EWSB scale. With the LHC already producing an abundance of top-quarks it is vital that theory predictions be as precise as possible. I will describe an Effective Theory inspired method to make predictions at NLO for unstable top quarks (Single-Top and Top-Pair) at colliders. This not only leads to simpler calculations, but, more importantly, reveals a deeper structure to the amplitudes, potentially opening the door to including effects of large-log resummation. The method will be illustrated with new results for Single-Top and progress on Top-Pair will be discussed.
