The number of particpants has been limited in order establish a close contact between the lecturers and the attendees. Applications should be submitted early enough and not later than Jan 15, 2008. Please, use the on-line application form provided by this web-site to submit your application. The courses are free of charge.
Location
The research course is organised by the Hamburger Synchrotronstrahlungslabor HASYLAB, the synchrotron radiation department of DESY. The course takes place in the HASYLAB conference room in the upper floor of the FLASH experimental hall (Bldg 28 c)

Accommodation
DESY has several guest houses with one-bed rooms and appartments. Participants of the research course can make a room reservation within the period Feb 27 - Mar 4. The request for a guest room must accompany the application. We will check the availability and confirm the reservation. The guest house rooms will be provided to the participants free of charge.
Eating at DESY
- DESY cafeteria: Open on working days from 7:00 to 17:00. Here you can find all you need for breakfast, coffee and other snacks.
- DESY canteen: Open on working days from 11:00-14:00. Warm meals, salad bar.
- DESY Bistro: Open on week days from 17:00 to 23:00 (weekends 10:00 to 16:00) for warm meals, snacks and drinks. At weekends a breakfast buffet is served from 10:00.
- The DESY cafeteria and canteen are found in building 9, the Bistro is in building 9a.
