From the airport to the central station:
It is about 10 km by taxi from the airport to the city centre. If you don't wish to go by taxi, go directly to the central railway station by train.
The city train (S-Bahn) S2 (destination: Pirna) runs every 30 minutes (travel time: 20 min).
The station is located in the airport basement.
Buy a single journey ticket for zone 1 (2,00 € - valid max. 1 hour) which you can use for the bus or tram after you arrive at the central station.
From the central station to the auditorium:
You get to the auditorium by tram or bus:
bus line 66 (direction Südhöhe): from "Hauptbahnhof" to “Mommsenstraße” (3 stops). Walk 200 m to the auditorium.
tram 8 (direction: Dresden Südvorstadt) or tram 3 (direction: Dresden Coschütz): from „Hauptbahnhof“ to „Nürnberger Platz“ (2 stops). Walk 800 m from the tram stop to the auditorium.
A taxi rank is located at "Wiener Platz" on the north side of the central station building.

It takes 14 min by tram from the hotel to the university.
