Booking a hotel room is a business transaction between workshop participant and the hotel. The workshop organizers are not a party in any disputes between the participant and the hotel.
The workshop sessions themselves will be held at Wilhelminenhof Berlin, which is halfway between DESY/Zeuthen and Berlin. The social event however will be organized in the city of Berlin.
As the city of Berlin is a tourist place it's rather easy to find accommodation. So we didn't prebook anything, but you can find some recommended hotels below, which are close to the conference dinner location. It might however be a bit cumbersome to get back from the workshop dinner in Berlin to the Hotels in Zeuthen especially if you are considering to explore the Berlin's nightlife after the dinner.
