Accomodations

Accommodations at Harvard are complicated. This is the most critical to book as soon as possible. We will need to consider the larger Boston area for cheaper accommodation. Harvard is connected very well with downtown Boston by subway (known as "T" in Boston).

A list of hotels close to Harvard is provided here:
http://www.gse.harvard.edu/about/campus/directions/accommodations.html

We have secured a limited number of rooms at the following hotel.

Holiday Inn Boston-Bunker Hill
30 Washington Street
Somerville, MA 02143
Hotel Reservations : 1 877 410 6667
Hotel Front Desk : 1-617-6281000

Discount rate available until September 14, 2013 – 11:00PM
Room block name: ATLAS Standard Model Workshop
1 King Bed or 2 Double Beds: $139.00/night

The rate is very good for the area but the hotel is a little further away from the Harvard campus (45 minutes walking distance). If you take a bus, you should be able to reach the Harvard campus in about 25 minutes.
Alternatively, one can also get to Boston from the orange T line. From there, you can take the red line into Harvard. This route would be longer.
