Sasha:
- new infrastructure is imported
- check integrity of the stave services implementation
  - some parts appear as disconnected and some parts are in the air
  - need the material composition of the “other” parts (not the stave)

Stuart:
- quadrupoles should be as much as possible close to the IP? (50 cm away from the Brems target??)
- will you be responsible for the design in the experiment?
- do we have the design of the beamline supports?
- beam halo will be the main source of bkg?
- slide 16 - what is the vertical line?
- need root output —> talk with Sasha
- Beate:
  - need to see how to optimise the distances of the magnets etc wrt the upstream target.
  - do not need tight focus at the target —> need a range X um at the target (i.e. for the ICS IP - 10 um??) and Y um at the main IP (about 9 um now without optimisation)?
  - we do not know what is the impact on the physics from larger beam size.
- Louis:
  - could move the target ~1.5 m upstream
  - measurement of the beam halo profile is ongoing
- Sasha:
  - G4 will simulate the gas+electron interaction (with cross section biasing or event generator?).
  - 7M primaries with 200 nodes on the cluster took a couple of hours.
  - do we take into account time correlation (in time / faster / slower than the main beam) —> should be in time

Louis:
- the ~50 mm height of the volume is due to what? —> set with larger y-axis is taking more power (B-field volume)
- how many magnets of the blue one do we have? —> no but we can buy
- maybe we should change the magnets in the model ~now —> wait for Louis to confirm shortly.
- cannot be a permanent magnet
- Louis will ask for quotes.

Arka:

Daniel:
- the strong focusing is causing more angular spread so less focusing means narrower bandwidth for the output Compton photons energy. However, with less focused beam we get a factor of ~3 less Compton photons.

- Shan:
  - try to produce the x:z vertex plots from the Tracks tree for each face of the calo alone
  - try to confirm if the additional bkg is coming
