Europe/Berlin
BAH1 (Bldg. 3)

BAH1

Bldg. 3

Description
The European XFEL will require very precise synchronization. Depending on accelerator subsystem, optical, RF and timing singals are required with various stability characteristics. The synchronization system conceptual design is being prepared. The main objectives of this workshop are explaining to users the planned concept of the synchronization system and also gathering and discussing user requirements. The most important and difficult requirements will be identified and consequences of difficulties with fulfilling those requirements will be addressed. The data gathered from users will be a base for the CDR of the synchronization system.
