How to get to GSI:

The MT-ARD-ST3-Meeting will be organized at the GSI Campus on Wednesday the 3rd of July. The Greet Hotel is the venue for Thursday 4th and Friday 5th of July.   

Wednesday morning: A bus-shuttle will be arranged from the Greet Hotel to the GSI campus. The departure time will announced later. 

Wedndesday evening: A bus-shuttle will be arranged from GSI campus to Greet Hotel at 18:15 after the first day program. 

Thursday evening: A bus-shuttle will be arranged for the transport from Geet Hotel (conference venue at that day) to the conference dinner location. For the return, please use public transportation. 

Confrence dinner: The dinner location is Weißer Schwan. in Darmstadt-Arheilgen. Bus shuttles are organized to reach this location. Public transport is available for the way back to the hotel. The tram stop "Messeler Straße" is located directly in front of the Weißer Schwan.

Traveling by public transportation: The bus line G operates from the S-Bahn station Darmstadt-Wixhausen to GSI and from tram station Darmstadt-Arheilgen Dreieichweg. Its operate every 30 min; between 8:00 and 9.00 every 15 min. For the schedule see  RMVgo App.

Tickets can be purchased at a ticket machine or on the bus and do not need to be validated
The day ticket for adults costs €6.65.

Traveling by car: GSI can be reached from a junction with traffic lights in Darmstadt-Wixhausen. More details are descibed here

Special Event in Darmstadt City:

From Thursday 04.07.2024 to 08.07.2024, the people of Darmstadt (also known as Heiner) will be celebrating their 74th Heinerfest: "Germany's most diverse inner-city festival".

So if you would like to do something after dinner on Thursday evening, this would be a great opportunity.
