Description

In this workshop the particle physics community in Germany will discuss its input to the Update of the European Strategy for Particle Physics 2024-2026 (EPPSU). The workshop will focus on collider physics.

The workshop takes place from November 27-29 in the DESY auditorium. All sessions are plenary-only.

In-person participation is encouraged. Participation via zoom is possible: https://desy.zoom.us/j/64183981192 (Passcode: 623231). It is the same room for all sessions.

A dedicated session in the morning of November 27 is organised by yHEP.

The workshop is part of a series of three strategy workshops organised by the 'Komitee für Teilchenphysik (KET)', which also includes

Scientific organising committee:

Lutz Feld, Karsten Koeneke, Thomas Kuhr, Johannes Haller (co-chair), Ruth Jacobs, Jenny List (co-chair), Daniel Mohler, Tillmann Plehn, Markus Schumacher, Uli Uwer

Local organising committee:

Andrea Bremer (UHH), Ruth Jacobs (DESY), Johannes Haller (UHH), Iffni Meza (DESY), Jenny List (DESY), Matthias Schröder (UHH)

Support

The meeting is thankfully supported by the Helmholtz alliance: early career scientists from alliance institutes can request support for travel expenses.

Coffee breaks are thankfully supported by the cluster of excellence 'Quantum Universe'.
