Annual meeting 2024 of particle physicists in Germany and German strategy workshop "The Future of Non-Collider Particle Physics" in preparation of the ESPP update

Physikzentrum Bad Honnef

Physikzentrum Bad Honnef

Lutz Feld (RWTH Aachen), Markus Schumacher (Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg)
Description

This year the annual meeting (21./22.11.2024) will be followed by a strategy workshop (22.-24.11.2024) on non-collider projects in preparation of the ESPP update. It is possible to attend just one of the two meetings. Please fill out the registration accordingly.

The meeting takes place at the Physikzentrum Bad Honnef. Participation via zoom is possible: https://cern.zoom.us/j/69211333229?pwd=MkJRTkRXcGhLTFlyZ0pubkdjNWNBQT09 It is the same link for all sessions.

Due to the changing composition of the community with a growing proportion of non-German-speaking participants, from this year on the language at the KET annual meeting will generally be English. Contributions or discussions in German will be possible if the speaker or the topic requires it. The language of the informal discussion on Thursday evening will be chosen depending on the topic.

Please register before 31.10.2024 via the menue item "Registration" in the lefthand panel. Please also register if you intend to participate via zoom.

The 80 rooms at the Physikzentrum can be booked during the registration. Rooms will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Drinks are charged at a flat rate, so you can pay your bill on arrival or at any time in between to avoid a long queue at the end of the meeting.
