The next DESY Photon Science Users' Meeting "Research with Synchrotron Radiation and FELs" will take place on 26 - 30 January 2026 (Monday to Friday) in conjunction with the European XFEL Users' Meeting (www.xfel.eu/2026um).
The events comprise sessions on research with free-electron lasers (FELs) and synchrotron radiation sources, satellite workshops and scientific poster sessions in the afternoon, which will be accompanied by a vendor exhibition. The weekly schedule of the Users’ Meetings is as follows:
Monday: Satellite Meetings
Tuesday: European XFEL plenary and a poster session (mainly XFEL topics incl. theory)
Wednesday: FLASH plenary session followed by a jointly organized plenary session with European XFEL and a poster session (mainly FLASH topics incl. theory)
Thursday: DESY Photon Science and PETRA III plenary and a poster session (mainly PETRA III and PETRA IV topics)
Friday: Satellite Meetings
The scientific and the poster sessions of the DESY Photon Science users’ meeting take place on the DESY Campus (DESY Auditorium (Bldg. 5) | Poster sessions: CFEL Foyer (Bldg. 99)). The European XFEL poster session on Tuesday afternoon will take place on the European XFEL Campus in Schenefeld. Throughout the week, satellite workshops will also be organised at DESY and on the European XFEL Campus.

You are kindly requested to register until 17 December 2025, which is obligatory if you plan to participate in the main sessions, workshops or to present a poster at the poster session.
