Labs

Proposal for Labs have to be sent to infieri15-loc@desy.de by the deadline of August 15, together with a short abstract in Word.

Special requests (tables, space, network...) should also be communicated in time. A short description of 2 pages in Word should be sent by 1st September. The Department of Physics of the University of Hamburg is equipped with the eduroam Wifi.

For the labs there will be a safety briefing the first day and a safety officer from DESY will inspect the equipments. We ask the lab organizer to have the material ready on the tables, on the first day in the afternoon, if possible.

Each afternoon from 2:30 to 5:15 pm there will be computing or practical labs. Transportation will be provided for the lab which will be on the DESY campus. A lab usually is completed in one afternoon (some takes two sessions) and students rotate each afternoon among the labs.

Students should preferably choose labs outside their field of expertise and/or current work.
The list of CLABs= Computing Labs (CLs) and LAB's (Practical Labs) are available here below and their description can be found in the Timetable page. They all take place at the University of Hamburg, apart from one that is installed at DESY.

Here below the lists of Labs, their organizers and location.
