Description

Supernova (SN) explosions provide a perfect environment to produce and therefore test hypothetical particles. SN1987a gave a possibility to set a number of constraints on FIPs parameters using the energy-loss argument and further development of neutrino detectors extends those possibilities. I will discuss, how SN-produced FIPs may create detectable signatures that can significantly improve testable regions of FIP's parameters compared to those, provided by energy-loss arguments. in particular, for HNLs in the range of masses between $\sim 150$ MeV and $500$ MeV, it can potentially close a gap in the testable parameter's space between expected SHiP sensitivity and BBN
