Workshop on Spin Simulation Tools

Europe/Berlin
DESY

DESY

Gudrid Moortgat-Pick (University of Hamburg/DESY), Ian Bailey (Lancaster University / Cockcroft Institute), Sabine Riemann (DESY)
Description

This workshop will address special issues associated with modeling spin transport and preservation in colliders. The focus will be simulation tools such as PPS-Sim, BMAD, Slicktrack, CAIN, GUINEA-PIG (GP++) and Zgoubi.

Goals of the workshop:
- introduce the software packages
- exchange experience
- discuss further steps and future developments for simulation tools
Please, send your comments and abstracts to Gudi (gudrid.moortgat-pick at desy.de), or Ian (i.bailey at lancaster.ac.uk) and/or Sabine (sabine.riemann at desy.de).

We will set up webex sessions.
