Description

The poster provides an overview of the ongoing R&D activities within the ALICE ITS3 project, with respect to testing the response of curved 50um-thick ALPIDE sensors.
Results show that sensors bent to the innermost targeted radius of 18mm exhibit no signs of mechanical damage and retain their full electrical functionality. Moreover, they demonstrate the same efficiency and noise-free operation as their flat counterparts.
