Outline:
Doctoral researchers face unprecedented challenges: managing complex research projects, meeting publication demands, and balancing academic responsibilities with personal well-being. Integrating artificial intelligence tools into daily academic workflows offers transformative opportunities to enhance productivity, improve time management, and reduce stress. However, successful AI adoption requires strategic thinking about which tools to use, how to use them ethically and in accordance with good scientific practice, and how to integrate them seamlessly into existing research practices. This workshop provides doctoral researchers with practical frameworks for leveraging AI to optimize their academic productivity while maintaining research integrity and developing essential self-management skills.

This interactive online workshop combines theoretical insights with hands-on practice through a balanced mix of short presentations, guided exercises, group discussions, and individual reflection sessions. The workshop emphasizes practical application over theoretical discussion, ensuring participants leave with immediately usable strategies and tools. Through collaborative learning and peer feedback, participants will develop both technical competencies and critical thinking skills for responsible AI adoption in academic contexts.

This workshop will transform your approach toacademic productivity. It will enable you to:

  • Refine your prompting skills to turn AI into a reliable research
    assistant.
  • Use AI tools for self-reflection, clarity, and enhanced critical
    thinking.
  • Apply AI for structured problem-solving and actionable
    planning.
  • Integrate AI into your daily workflow to prioritize tasks, stay
    focused, and reduce procrastination.
