Day 2. Workshop 2 Career coaching

Workshop 2
Career coaching with Steffi Beckhaus

Venue & Date: Seminar room 1b, building 1, Bahrenfeld Campus, 9:30-17:00, 24 November 2017

Scope
Leading a work-life that is congruent with your values, interest and goals is an individual, lifelong challenge. The possibilities, especially for academics, are large and multi-facetted, however, this fact often reveals itself only after getting some clarity about the individual goals and about the current work- and job landscape.
A career coaching can help you get a fresh view on your career, reflect on potential choices and possibilities, and get new perspectives on your current situation and challenges. Career, here, as well as in the English connotation of the word, includes both job and life related topics. Both are strongly interrelated.
Depending on your degree of clarity with regard to your chosen topic, a coaching could be anything from identifying a helpful advancing question to reflecting on how to choose from a selection of clear-cut available options. From this one-time coaching session you can expect to get impulses that help you to take the next steps.
Format
Individual coaching session in a confidential, value- and goal oriented setting, each 50 min.
