Description
This workshop on the usage of graphics processing units in high energy physics aims at increasing the exchange of ideas and knowledge in this increasingly important field. It will cover, among others, the following topics:
  • GPUs in tracking and vertexing
  • GPUs in triggering applications
  • GPUs on the grid
  • GPUs for medical imaging purposes
  • GPUs in neutron and photon science
A half-day tutorial with OpenCL complements the programme. The fee for participation is 30 Euros and has to be paid at the registration desk. Travel support can be granted on request - please contact the organisers at anacen [at] desy.de .
